Network boosts baseball, softball coverage
The Big Ten Network has nearly doubled its coverage plans for the Big Ten's baseball and softball seasons. The network will produce at least 102 baseball and softball games for the Big Ten Network or www.BigTenNetwork.com this spring.

Minnesota outlasts St. Thomas in 12 innings
Kurt Schlangen (Albany, Minn.) delivered an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the 12 to give the Minnesota baseball team (4-7) a 5-4 victory over St. Thomas (2-1) at the Metrodome on Wednesday.

The Penn State baseball team fell victim to strong two-out hitting as Texas A&M scored all seven of its runs with two outs on its way to a 7-0 win on Wednesday evening.

Despite shutting out Big 12 power Texas A&M through three innings, the Aggies' offense exploded in the fourth and wouldn't look back as they went on to down the Penn State baseball team, 17-3 on Tuesday.
